Peace and Greetings to all
As you are all aware by now, CFCA will be having a survey for the community. This survey, which will be the first in the 30 years of existence of our beloved community, will take place in February 2019.
I am happy to report that we have completed the survey questionnaire and booklets has been printed (please see attached cover page) and ready to be packed for distribution in Jan and early February next year. A lot of work and thoughts have been put in coming up with the appropriate questions. Though, we still have a long way to go until we are able to appreciate the true value of this listening process for our community. We, in the NC, strongly believe that this is important for our community moving forward into the future and I am inviting everyone for your full cooperation for the success of this survey.
Why do it? The main purpose of this survey is to get your thoughts on how we as community are going in our work of evangelisation, mission and formation and how you are being supported and valued within our community. It will also give us a clear idea in what we are doing well and what we can do better to improve as we formulate our strategies in achieving the six objectives of our CFCA. The survey will be in two parts, first part being the profile and second part are the in-depth questions. The profile survey is necessary to know our community membership demographic (age, work schedules, number of children, etc.)
How to participate? A survey booklet will be given to all members of the household and will be completed during a nominated household meetings in February next year. Once everyone has completed the survey, your respective household head will return all booklets back in an envelope to be sealed. The survey is meant for individual respondents, not for a couple. Respondents of the survey are SFC, CFCA and HOLD. All your responses will be treated with utmost confidentiality. More instructions will be disseminated prior to the commencement of the survey.
What’s next? The result of the survey will be analysed and a report will be given to the National Council and to all Area Heads. A report of the survey process and the actions taken to address the outcome will be given out no later than 12 months after the first survey is released.
As this survey is only open during the month of February next year, we are asking all leaders and members to plan together the completion of the survey before the end of February.
We, in the National Council, thank you in advance for your participation and support to this survey.
The passage we have chosen as our theme for this survey is from 2 Peter 1:21 “because no prophecy ever came by human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”
Thank you and God bless.
