Dear All,

From the time we’ve emailed an appeal for your generosity for the flood victims in the Philippines, the number of fatalities has increased 4 times.  Displaced families and damaged to properties has gotten a lot worst.  It will take months for a lot of them to be able to rebuild their respective homes.  It will be a painful climb for other to restore their lives back.   A lot of them will have a bleak Christmas.

To date CFC Australia’s finan

cial contribution to Caritas is approx.  $10,000 for the Philippines Humanitarian Crisis Appeal and $1200 for the Indonesian Earthquake Appeal.

We would like to continue on with our appeal and be able to share our blessing to a lot of people in need.

- For those who want to contribute or contribute more financially please send thru Caritas via CFC Australia Office (Please note that any donation to Caritas is tax deductable).Â

- For those who wants to send or send more goods, check with CFC Australia Office (thru the Pilipino Chaplain) or with your respective area leaders.

We encourage everyone to continue on in supporting and praying for all the victims of the recent disasters in the Pacific region and in Southeast Asia.

‘In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”.’

Acts 20:35

God Bless,

Catholic Humor: Children and Teachers

A kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they drew. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's artwork. As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, he asked what the drawing was.

The girl replied, I'm drawing God.

The teacher paused and said, But no one knows what God looks like.

Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, They will in a minute.
