Christian Life Program (CLP) - Mount Barker Parish

The Parish Pastoral Council is delighted to invite you once again to attend a Christian Life Program (CLP), a 7-week journey organised by Couples For Christ Australia (CFCA). CFCA is a parish-based community dedicated to supporting family life.

This year's CLP will be held in July 2024 and will feature a series of inspiring talks on living the Christian faith, offered at no cost to participants. The CLP was first introduced in our parish in 2022, leading to the formation of the Mount Barker CFCA Parish group, which now meets regularly for prayer, worship, and fellowship.

The aim of the CLP is to help participants rediscover and enrich their faith in the Lord, strengthen family relationships and friendships, and get to know new people as our parish community grows. This Catholic adult faith formation program includes 12 talks and discussions conducted over 7 weeks on Sunday afternoons. Topics covered include God’s love, what it means to be a Christian, repentance and faith, loving God and neighbor, and life in the Holy Spirit, with opportunities for small group discussions.

We invite you to join the Christian Life Program this year, from July 21st to August 25th, every Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at St. Francis de Sales Function Room, 8 Dutton Road, Mt. Barker.
