The Northside GPM held last Saturday (1Mar), was an uplifting and rejuvenating experience, featuring spirit-filled talks and healing prayers that touched the hearts of many of our brothers and sisters.
The afternoon commenced with a spiritually and emotionally charged praise and worship, expertly led by Bro Josiah Navarro. He shared that, amidst the face of many tragedies and heartbreak, our dear Lord never ceases to speak to him and found comfort in the knowledge that our dear Lord Jesus was carrying his burden alongside him. Through worship songs and prayers, our talented music ministry from Brod Jay's and Sis Carol's household provided the perfect backdrop in expressing our gratitude, of how blessed we are and how merciful our God is.
Guests from the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Brisbane (CRC) were also warmly welcomed, including Len Airey, former president of CRC. Len delivered an insightful Talk on “Finding Strength Through Faith in Challenging Times”. He reminded us that “When our fears and anxieties threaten to drown us, He reaches down to lift us up and set our feet on solid rock” (Psalm 40:2) and “In those times when I cry out in despair, the Word of God reminds me He collects all my tears” (Psalm 56:8). The talk was followed by our CRC guests’ solemn and ‘filled with the Holy Spirit’ Healing session, providing comfort and Grace. Our Sharers imparted a common message; ‘seasons of hardships may test our faith and can sometimes threaten to defeat us, but even when we feel like giving up - our relationship with God gives us the resilience to take the next step and keep moving forward. His love truly never fails!
The event concluded with the honouring of our Northside leaders specially Brod Jays’ and Sis Cherry’s, acknowledging their selfless dedication and service to God and His community.
I invited my friend Gina to this event, and this is what she has to say as a non-member:
March 2, 2025, will always be a special day for me—it was the day I truly felt the beauty of being part of the CFCA Organization. I hadn’t realized that praise and worship was part of the experience, and to my delight, it was! Worshiping through music has always been my favourite, and after so long without attending such an event, I felt my heart overflow with gratitude and energy as I lifted my praises to the Lord.
A huge thank you to Sister Yoly and Brother Caloy—one of my favourite couples—who continue to inspire me with their unwavering patience and…
