The HOLD NSW leaders had a very fruitful day last Saturday, 26 October 2024. The first activity was a talk given by Bro. Nonie Cabrera on the “5000 in 5”. This is the strategic vision and goal of CFCA and the rallying cry to increase CFCA membership to 5000 in 5 years.
The talk was very noteworthy on two counts. Firstly, Bro. Nonie set out the imperatives on how to achieve the vision: through courageous evangelization, transformational leadership, active participation in community life, promotion of the community and spiritual nourishment.
Secondly, he inspired the group to a different mindset on a new way of thinking to challenge oneself to try something new and to take courage to lead. He mentioned inviting not only Filipinos but also those from other ethnic cultures as this will widen the trajectory of CFCA evangelisation.
The 2nd activity of the day was planning HOLD activities for 2025 presided by Sis Grace Jacinto. Projected activities were calendared with emphasis on conducting two CLPs during the year as well as to conduct "Home CLP". All were reminded to keep track of the formation programs, such as Foundation for Christian Living, Christian Personal Relationship and other teachings that can be topics discussed during HH meetings.
We expect an exciting 2025, with all of us doing God’s work of evangelisation and making His love felt by those who needs it most.
